It exists because of a gap most of us notice eventually, usually too late. There’s an entire layer of information running underneath your working life. How salary bands actually work. What your manager needs to hear before review season. Why the promotion you want probably won’t be announced anywhere. Nobody hands you any of it. Some women get it from a parent, or a mentor, or a group chat with the right people in it. Everyone else figures it out the expensive way, usually two years after it would have been useful.
That’s what this site is for. The information you were supposed to somehow already have.

What We Cover: Career, Money, Beauty, & Style

Most content online treats these as separate worlds. Career advice sits in one corner sounding like a LinkedIn post that’s been through legal. Money content sits somewhere else assuming you either have nothing or a lot. Beauty and style rarely acknowledge that most of us are getting ready at 6:40am with a standup at nine.
But that’s not how a life works. The woman wondering whether she’s underpaid is the same woman with the Caudalie in her bathroom cabinet and a wardrobe she’s slowly trying to make more intentional. It’s one life. It should be one conversation.

How The Monday Stack Writes

  • Specifically: If an article says to negotiate, it tells you what to say. If it says to check your market rate, it tells you where. Vague advice is worse than no advice because it makes you feel like the problem is you.
  • Honestly: Products get recommended because they’re good, not because someone paid for the placement. When something expensive is worth it, we’ll say so. When the $12 version does the same job, we’ll say that too.
  • Without the guru voice: Nobody here is going to tell you to manifest a raise or wake up at 5am. You have a job, a life, and roughly an hour of energy left at the end of the day. Everything on this site is written with that in mind.

On AI & Career Productivity

We’re also quietly obsessed with using AI to do more in less time. Not in a “future of work” thought-leadership way, but in a “there’s one free hour in the day and let’s see how far it stretches” way. That means a lot of automations, a lot of testing, and a lot of experiments that don’t work before finding the ones that do.[1, 2]
When something’s genuinely useful, it gets written up here. No jargon, no hype, just whether it’s worth your Tuesday evening.
